The Unisex Mak Camp shirt is carefully crafted from handwoven yarn dyed plaids, with a loose and oversized fit inspired by the Hollywood camp shirts of the 1950’s. The patterns are inspired by plaids found in some of our antique boro textiles, and subtly mixed with secondary patterns framing the garment. You’ll have to look closely to find them. The yarns are separately dyed to different shades of indigo and then the fabric takes 90 days to weave, and then the shirts are made with french seams and full plaid matching by a single tailor. They are built to last so you can pass them down after a lifetime of wear. Wash them cold and hang them to dry, they only get better with age.
